A curated list of where to get a good Path of Exile 1 filter and which strictness level to pick. Not a filter builder — download someone else’s file and swap tiers in-game. Switch games in the header.

We link out to the author’s GitHub, Filter Ladder, forum thread, or FilterBlade — we don’t host the .filter files. They update on their own cadence; mirroring them here would go stale the moment upstream ships a patch. New to filters? Start with the Foundations lesson.

The default pick — seven strictness tiers, leveling and endgame in one file, updated before every league. Start on 2-SEMI-STRICT.

Strictness tiers

  • 0-SOFTShows the most, including chaos-recipe chaff. Noisy in maps.
  • 1-REGULARShows a lot of rares. Fine for league start and chaos recipes.
  • 2-SEMI-STRICT · start hereNeverSink's beginner pick. Hides the worst rares.
  • 3-STRICTUsual endgame strictness. Hides bad-base rares and scrolls.
  • 4-VERY-STRICTOnce you're geared — hides most rares and junk currency.
  • 5-UBER-STRICTSpeed-farming. Hides maps below T11.
  • 6-UBER-PLUS-STRICTSterile screen. Only for a finished, fast character.
